Drove an hour and a half just to get there and someone else is looking at at the same time as me. I got there before the other guy and he hands the key to the other guy first. Don’t know what kind of business practices is, but I do not recommend.

After meeting Jacob and his business partner I was at ease and continued to be put at ease at his willingness to explain what he’s doing and why. October 31, 2025. Jake was very receptive to me negotiating before I looked at because of long distance travel. We had excellent communication throughout the process. Jake is very responsible and very transparent in his sales. It was a pleasure to work with him and I highly recommend him and his sales to others.
Jake was a pleasure to buy from. He priced my truck very fairly, had an accurate description, and was very flexible with timing. Would absolutely buy from him again, you can’t go wrong buying from him
Asked questions (normal) once I asked if it had been scanned to figure out why he believed it to be a circuit issue he stopped responding. Took a look at his listing ratings and figured out what I was up against. Bad unhappy people. Personally I wouldn't recommend him. "Young" or not. You get what ya get when reading others statements of transactions or lack there of.

Ben wasn't there to meet me. I asked him to confirm the bed length for the truck he was selling me a part off. Perhaps using a tape measurer isn't Ben's strong suit. He confirmed that he had a 5' bed when it was in fact a 6'. His very nice buddy apologized profusely, but never the less, I spent several hours driving for a part that did not fit due to being misled about what was being sold.

Unfortunately the ‘runs and drives great’ description didn’t match the truck breaking down on the freeway on the drive home. Turns out the vehicle had a diagnosed blown head gasket and needed a new motor. It’s unclear if the seller was aware, but he shared that many of his vehicles come from donated technical school auctions. I would say buyer beware of cars from this tech school as they sent the vehicle to auction with a bag engine.
This is true and that is a risk you take when buying a car for less than $3000. However, I did try to make things right after the fact and you ghosted me. You still have my number and if you would kindly respond I am still willing to figure out some settlement.

Agreed on a time to meet days in advance communicated hours before the agreed upon time and still sold it an hour before I was coming.

Bought a Honda over 8 months ago from him and it’s still going strong with no issues at all! I was actually so impressed with the vehicle and price I paid that I recommended him to my mother and she purchased a Toyota from him that has been an excellent runner as well. Both transactions went smooth i was hesitant before we met because the seller is a bit young but i knew right away when we met that he was professional and about his business. He showed up right on time for our appointments with all the necessary paperwork to complete the deal and the cars had no hidden details. The title came in the mail about 2 weeks later just like he promised and everything has been great since THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN for helping out my family

Overall experience was very poor. We offered Ben an amount he accepted, and after driving 40 minutes we got a message from him that he sold it to someone else, 5 minutes before we arrived. Complete waste of time, in my opinion his description of "honesty and integrity" seems far from the truth. If you want to buy from Ben, just be prepared to turn around!
Sorry for the inconvenience, unfortunately all my cars are first come first serve just like any dealership. Also you did show up an hour after you said you would. So I told the next person to come.

I didn't end up buying a van from Jake this time, but he was very helpful and communicative throughout our interactions. Scheduling a test drive was easy and he was willing to work with me on a mechanic inspection, so I felt like transparency was high. He had some nice finds on his lot, but I went a different route for now. Would definitely consider buying from him in the future.

Jake hands down has been the best Facebook marketplace interaction I have ever had when buying a car. He was clear about the history of the car, provided carfax’s, very responsive, was honest about the questions I asked and was fair on pricing. As far as buying used cars on FB marketplace he is as good as it gets! Based on my experience 10/10 would recommend.

Bought this 2010 Honda odyssey from Jake. He was easy to work with, no pressure. Any issues I had he was punctual to make sure everything was okay. Overall happy with my purchase. I didn’t give 5 stars because their was a repair that needed to be done.
